I stumbled upon this awesome deal on craigslist and thought I would post it here. If I had seen this for sale two months ago, I would have snatched this coop up in a heartbeat! This isn't mine, nor do I know the seller but I just had to share.

Here's what it says and pics are included in the ad, it looks really nice! :

"Very well built Chicken Coop 4ft wide, 6 feet deep, 6'6" tall. Built of high quality materials and very solid. Has Egg hatch with 3 built in nesting boxes for convenience. Heavy pannel on windows to protect against predators. Will accomidate around 18 Chickens with 3 perching rods. Includes 5 gallon auto waterer and one gallon auto feeder. I have invested over $500 in materials alone and coop was only used for around 6 months." (Phone number deleted by me)

There are never deals like this in my area!! Looks well made and def. worth what he/she is asking for it. I would never attempt to keep 18 birds in a 6x4 coop, but it'd be great for someone with 6 or so backyard chickens. I like that even though it's smallish, it's kind of a walk-in.

I thought the same thing about it being too small for 18 birds. I also thought it would need some additional ventilation for summer. Still, a rockin' good deal :)

I need to take some.. here is the one we used as a model... https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/permanent-hoop-coop-guide

we opted not to have the box inside.. so there was no need for the top support. Once we had it assembled it was more than sturdy so we decided to build more!

when we make the next one i'll take some step by step photos and post the info... but the one in the link gives plenty of info for building a hoop coop

That was a great buy for a coop. We just built this mobile chicken coop. Here's a pic! This model has 24 sqft of run space and can be easily moved around...plus it looks fantastic. :) We found that it is a great design for home owners in Austin because of the balance between compact mobile coop size and ample space for the hens to stretch their legs. A link with all the measurements and and other pics can be found at http://austinchickencoop.com/ . Hope that helps!
