So Fanny is a little different than her siblings. I have 3 BO's and Fanny has some different feathering going on. Is this normal, or should I be worried? Is she, a she???!!!

Quote:That's what I thinking...she's very fluffy!! No one else is, so I'm stumped. I'm new to chickens, so I'm hoping it's just her way of feathering and nothing bad!

Very fluffy! BOs are famous for fluffy feathers aren't they?

Also would like to know the blue one behind her in the 5th picture.
Ohhh I see from your signature -- is that the Easter Egger? Very pretty & unique.

The blue looks like she could be my EE hens sister!!! Except mine's head is the same blue as her body. Is she EE?

Quote:That is Harriet, and she is an EE. She started out as a little chocolate brown chick in a mass of yellow and black chicks! She's very pretty, but flighty! I've not caught her yet to hold her.
