thermometer with bator

I did a test run last night. I placed the hydrometer/ thermometer on the side and the thermometer that came with the egg turner on the turner. After 4 hrs the humidity was 30% and temp 99.5. But the thermometer on the turner wasnt even at 60. Could it be a bad on, could the fan be cooling it? Am I over reacting, lol

got two more thermometers. decised the one that came with it was junk. now i am good
