I bought 6 baby chicks from the tractor suply store early March. They said they were RI red or NH reds Or Red star. Needless to say the chicks Are a buff collor or orange. Does any one have a clue to what kind of chicks they are? These birds are very skidish. My rocks and Ri reds were never shy. I hope by spending time with them and hand feeding will make them friendly like my other birds.

I'm a betting man and say the yellowish/blondes are Buff O's. I have only one out of my 9 total and wish I had gotten more. Mine is at the top of the pecking order as well.[IMG]
