The feathers on her feet developed ice crystals early this morning. So to protect her from frostbite on the first snow here in Maryland, i made her some boots out of rubber gloves, gauze, and medical tape. I think she liked them, she barely pecked at them and after a few minutes went about her day like everything was normal.
