They are using chickens eggs for H1N1!!

    Just saw it on 60 minutes, and that's awesome. I just wonder about the poor chickens and the abuse they are going through. Anybody know more? They are using thousands of eggs. Maybe I am just in the DARK?

    Do you mean they are using eggs to incubate the virus in the vaccine? Because they have done this with seasonal flu shots for many years...

    Yes, they are injecting the egg with something and then it turns into the vacine?

    Nothing new. That's why I don't take flu shots because I'm allergic to eggs.

    This has been going on since 1931. Honestly, I think using mass market eggs for vaccine production is no worse than being bought to eat, maybe even a better use for them. Though I do understand your concern.
