they finally hatched

    I had a hen sitting on 10 eggs the temps have been really low in the past few weeks only in the 30s because I live up north and my hens chicks hatched on day 23 and only 7 hatched the others had there yolk sac dangling out and she accidentally squished it and they bled to death but I got 7-10 chicks to hatch the mother is a Easter egger and the dad is a dark brown leghorn the chicks are really cute ! and they hatched October 31 2015 so they are holloween babies

    I will give a update on then when they turn one week and I think I have 3 roosters and 4 hens I wing sexed them and vent sexed them
