I thought it would never happen. I was sure they'd be picky forever. They are 12 weeks old today and in the past 2 weeks have enjoyed kale, bananas, yogurt, peas, strawberries, tomatoes, and watermelon in addition to their mealworm addiction. For a long time they would only eat things that were red. Here they are enjoying a banana this afternoon! :D

I have often wondered about my birds as well, and have found that they will eat things later, that they would not when first offered. I have just figured out to keep trying until one starts to eat, and then everyone jumps in and it is gone. Funny how until the first bird tries something they just turn up their juvenile noses and wait for something they 'do' like.

Best to you and your birds,

    RJ
