Just started day 20 at 6pm today. I checked and no pips or anything. I was sitting here reading the forum and started hearing a loud peeping. No pips. After about an hour of peeping I finally see a pip in one of the Jersey Giant eggs. A couple of minutes ago the second Jersey Giant pipped. It's going to be an interesting next 4 days as the bator hatches and the broody is on day 18 today.

Why do the chicks always seem to hatch at night. I have to get up at 5 am so I'm supposed to go to bed....and they pip....

I actually almost prefer it when they decide to hatch at night....if I'm sleeping I don't stress myself out checking them all the time!! [IMG]

Edited to add: Cyn, one of Silvers eggs has pipped too!
