I have been reading that so many of you give your chickens watermelon, so I had to run out and buy one. At first they looked at me like I was crazy, but then they tried it and liked it! Thanks for the idea!

Beautiful chickens BTW! Yes, they do. I keep it cold until afternoon is really hot and give to help cool them down. Try cantaloupe too same results.

Mine will continue to work on slices of watermelon until the rind is so thin you could read a newspaper thru it.
