I posted to a facebook group and they think its a rhode island red. I’m also wonder about the gender. The tail is pretty long, but mostly straight. 12 weeks old

I think that you have a rhode island red cockerel. You can tell by the pointy feathers coming in at the shoulders and the base of the tail. An americauna is not a breed, it is a word often used by people selling easter eggers that want you to think that they are Amaraucanas.
