MM had told me they would be here on the 20th, 21st, or 22nd, so I was sort of but not really expecting the call that came at 6:30 this morning from the PO. I dashed off to pick them up, and found 27 heathy chicks! Five Lt. Brahmas, ten BO's, eleven RIR's for my MIL, and the extra rare chick. They are settled in the brooder now, and last time I looked, were drinking, eating, and stretching out to nap. I'll get a few photos later, after they have had a chance to get over their trip.

That is so great... congrats on your new family members.

It helps me wait for mine when I can read about others getting theirs and having good experiences.

    Pictures....

And this is the rare mystery chick-anyone willing to take a quess? I'm thinking EE, though that doesn't really qualify as rare.

Messy little bunch!! But they're so cute it doesn't matter! The RIR's have gone home with my MIL, so the numbers have shrunk.
