I think somewhere I read it could be calcium related? Maybe try giving some shell grit?

Look at www.poultryhelp.com/oddeggs.html they seem to have some information on weird types of eggs

I found it on here when I was searching yolkless eggs last night! I've saved it now, for when I need to check whats happening with my eggs again! This forum is a wealth of knowledge!

True. I have been feeding my girls Starter with oyster shell, all of them SIX are doing really great with eggs except that little gal. i dont know why she's laying that eggs. to be honest Americana are so skinny i even named her skinny and she dont eat to much.
