Im hoping to come up with a list of things that can be fed to chickens from home.
What type of leftovers can they eat?

I also put most of my larger green waste (like tops of celery or carrots) into the food processor first. Then I put it on some chicken pellets in a bowl, cover in warm water to make a mash and feed it. Voila! They love it. I've found they won't eat the large pieces otherwise.

They also LOVE if you have an old pumpkin, just break it in half or quarters and throw it in the run.

    Anything?
What about leftovers from hamburger helper? Mac & cheese? etc

They love it just don't feed it often (it has a lot of sodium and not a lot of good nutrients). Some of the "weirder" things mine have had: chili, leftover soup, leftover chicken or steak, french fries (you haven't lived till you've seen a full grown hen scarf down whole french fries), etc.

Also add frogs and mice to the list. Not from my hands, of course.

They also love fish. Mine get a can of tuna when it's on sale.

I have some cans of tuna that no one in the house will eat, so I guess the hens will get them, lol.

I did try smoked trout, they hated it. My brother does the smoking for a fish house and we get all the small pieces and crumbles. He usually drops off 10lbs at a time. How much smoked fish can you eat!
I really hate it at this point.
