Think it’s molting but checking

What do you all think? Her feet and wings and getting bare spots. Eating and moving fine. She’s one of 5 and the only one who appears to be like this. Lots of feathers in the coop. 16 months old.

At that age molting would be the most likely answer. Feathers are usually seen all over the coop as well. They come out in clumps especially around the neck, and they lose tail feathers early. Some chickens gradually molt and it is harder to see it. There may be an overall rough look to them, feathers looking ratty, the comb may become more pale, and they stop laying eggs.

thank you! Feathers everywhere. Only getting 2 eggs a day lately, I thought it was the hot Texas weather but maybe it’s the molting too. The others maybe be starting up soon (used to get 5-6 eggs a day).
