Thinking about adopting these girls tomorrow. Anyone have an idea of the breeds?

If I had to guess, I would say the first one is a Brown Leghorn, and the second is possibly a production RIR. I can't see the comb very well on the second bird though. If it's not a single comb, it may be a Buckeye. A good looking pair! [IMG]

The one on the left is a Brown Leghorn and the other is a Rhode Island Red or Production Red.

The one on the left is a Brown Leghorn and the one on the right is a Production Red. Both should be excellent layers.)

I ended up not getting the girls. The woman told me to come get them tomorrow morning which was the soonest she said I could come and sold them out from under me. :( I was really excited too. :( I'm so disappointed.
