Hi, found out this morning I now have a cockerel and a hen polish frizzles. I would like to hatch some chicks, but have no idea where to start. Can someone point me in the right direction of some useful information on what to do and how to do it please :)

If you mean you want the hen to hatch the chicks, the hen will have to go broody, which is a hormonal process, before she will sit on eggs for the 21 days and nights needed to hatch chicks. Or you can buy or make an incubator. You can find directions to make one in our Learning Center. When a hen goes broody, she will choose a nest and sit on it 24/7, except for a brief daily outing to eat, etc.

I know little about genetics, but I would also suggest you research breeding two frizzles. Our Breeds forum should be a place you can do that.
