Hi everyone! I am no newcomer to the chicken world, but the hatching world is a whole new ballgame to me. I’ve researched a lot and I finally got my first cockerels this year. I ordered 2 cockerels, but I got 2 surprise cockerels and one supposed pullet turn out to be a cockerel, so that 5 + whatever cockerels I have in my bantam flock. I’m looking into rehoming 2 of them so that leaves me with 3 roosters in my standard flock. I also have 3-4 suspicious cockerels in my bantam flock. I’m looking to possibly hatching some purebreds and probably some mixes. I’m also planning on buying a few eggs.
I was wondering if anyone has done any mix with any of these breeds and if so how they turned out.
I’m going to do more pure breeds once I get more experience.

In my first flock I have…

1 Bielefelder cockerel
1 EE cockerel
1 BLRW cockerel
2 EE pullets
4 Bielefelder cockerels
4 cuckoo Maran cockerels
2 New Hampshire pullets
1 Columbian Wyandotte pullet
2 speckled Sussex
2 welsummer pullets
1 WTB pullet
2 partridge Plymouth Rock pullets
1 black Langshan

In my bantam flock I have…

1 Millie fleur d’ Uccle cockerel
1 black Cochin bantam cockerel
1 silver Sebright cockerel
1 golden neck (undetermined gender)
1 btw Japanese bantam pullet
1 bb red Old English bantam pullet
1 golden Sebright pullet
1 splash silkie (undetermined gender)
1 partridge silkie (undetermined gender)
1 white silkie (undetermined gender)
1 standard welsummer pullet
1 standard WTB pullet
1 Columbian Wyandotte pullet
1 silver polish
1 gold polish

I’m also planning on getting free blue partridge Brahma eggs from a relative when theirs start laying in about 4-5 months. (So beginning of next year when I hatch)

I also have a EE pullet in my bantam flock, but won’t be breeding due to cross beak (scissor beak)
