Thinking this is a rooster

I am new to chickens this year. I bought 3 “majestic morans” at tractor supply that were supposed to be pullets. 2 are all black but the third looks different and I am thinking might be a rooster. I also heard it crow the other day but I wanted to see what others thought.

It does look like a cockerel. How old is the bird? Also, could you take closer pictures of the head and tail?

I think you mean "Marans". Yes, the colorful one is a rooster.

If you heard crowing, you probably have a roo, and it does have a large red comb. With only one roo you should be alright as long as it's not aggressive and roosters are allowed where you live, I would look up if they are allowed

Definitely cockerel. Pretty sure Majestic Marans are autosexing. I'm assuming he always looked different even when young and now the full barring is becoming evident
