this egg is the bigest egg from a chicken ive ever seen

    the eggs from left to right are one wind eggs , two young chucoo marans eggs ,one silkie , one ee egg blue/green very large but the one on the right is two and a half times bigger than any chicken egg . if had a rooster in the pen id incubate it . i think it might be from a old plymoth rock

    it is as big as a duck ,,,,,, what would make thiss happen ?
    As for the hen in question . I dont know who had it ..... but she probubly cant sit down

    Here's one of mine from an Orpington hen. The other one is a Royal Palm turkey egg. I actually have several of these in the fridge..she has been doing it a lot recently.
    I'm not sure how she manages it..or why. But they are usually "double yolkers".

    I wonder if they are double- yolkers? Usually those are a lot larger.

    The egg was from an Australorp and is measured against a Jumbo egg.
