These are American pharaoh eggs and that is a quarter, not a dime. That big one has to be a double yoker. Ouch!

This year my quail is also laying huge dark eggs but not double yokers.

gyeesh...that poor hen! I can just imagine she will be terrified when it comes time for her to lay the next one today. lol

Yep, it was a double yoker. Went along nicely with some others in a bacon and cheese omelette this morning.
