I just put my 7 week old RIRS, Orps, and BRs out into their run for the first time. I am new to chicken keeping and I can't believe what an amazing experience this has been so far!! Watching them explore and act like real chickens is priceless. Just had to put it out there to people who would understand:) So fun!!

Yes, it is fun. So much so that I started letting them out of the run to explore the whole property. Now the whole yard *is* their run... sigh.

I know what you mean the first moment of the chickens in the run! Them run around like there heads were cut off! Have fun with these moments!
