For those of you as shocked as I when the birds hit 2 weeks and were flying, here is a glimpse of how they will look at 8 weeks. Combs starting to turn pink, ear flap covered in curly feathers, longer petticoats and so friendly! Golden Comets at 8 weeks-
They look like my ladies. First time raising comets(10) and they are very friendly. They like to have races around the coop with each other.flapping their wings as they run Mine always jump into my lap when I sit in the coop and let my kids pet them. Chris
I agree! They are setting down the pecking order, running and flapping, stretching at each other and ruffling neck feathers. A great choice for a family, and I can't wait for eggs!
