And, really, some posts are just fruitless. As much as we like to have our opinions aired and agreed with, some things will never be worth the drama. There is a good reason why politics and religion should never be discussed among friends!! You get too much of this

Thanks for posting this, Debi. We've had to shut down a lot of political threads lately.

I know it can be interesting, and I know people are passionate about it, but in the end, it all seems to end up in the same place -- an argument.

There are places on the Internet other than BYC to discuss politics and religion. If you want to discuss these topics with your BYC friends, use the PM system or get their Instant Messenger username so you can chat and debate that way.
