I'm thinking maybe my showgirl is grown up enough to tell gender. It's a wiggly thing tho so I only got one pic worth posting, but it's a pretty good one. Couldn't get anything of the legs at all, and had my baby (human type [IMG] so couldn't chase it down to try for a better shot.

Still not crowing or laying... I think it's about 5 months old now.

UGggggggg! That looks ....., but I say a girl. I don't like show girls, all that black skin showing on a NN is ............ to me.

ETA: I took out those word...Didn't mean to be offensive. Just my opinion.

I'd guess male. But then I'm not experienced with show girls. We did have some NNs and that is how the boys developed.

All though I am not a fan (dh is the nn lover) I think it's a bit uncalled for anyone to use the words "Nasty" or "disgusting" in referring to another person's animals. If you aren't a lover of the breed, so be it, To each his own. But that comment was uncalled for and plain old rude.

How old is it? Comb development relative to age helps a lot in determining these things.

For my 2 cents, I think he or she is cute a heck! [IMG] While I'm not a fan of turkens, I think the look on a slkie body has an entirely different effect. I also like the earnestness of her/his gaze. [IMG]

That is one wild looking bird!!!! I think you have a roo.

(You may want to put a "GRAPHIC" warning in the heading of this post.) It was hard to look at while I was eating my lunch.

I'm thinking roo. For what it's worth, I have to say I don't see the "ugly". Admittedly, I'm one of those who adore "faces only a mother could love".
