first is going to be pics of my cochin chicks and one sebright with there mother hen that fostered them.i got the cochin chicks from murray mcmurray hatchery.

i love letting a hen hatch some chicks. nothing better then seeing a hen leading her little clutch all around the yard.
heres is some of my chicks the day after i got them and the day before i put them under one of my hens to raise:

heres my chicks a few weeks after they have been with the hen:

here they are at 21 days old(only have 2 pictures):

all of the pics above^^^^^were taken in the months april and may
all of the pics below were taken more recently(within the last 3 months)

i only have 1 mottled, 2 partridges, 1 blue, and 1 white left out of my cochins.

i changed the name of the thread so this is going to be were i post pictures of my birds from now on.

lottyloo- i love taking pictures. love seeing how they grow over time.
teach1rusl-oh yes they stayed with her for about 4 months. the hen that fostered all these chicks(the bantam buff) got killed just the other day sadley by something. i was at school and there was a 3 inch gap in between the doors.something went in grabed her,chased her all around the yard(judging by all the feathers) and caught her and took her into the woods. so i no longer have her and she was a wonderful mother.the mottled is one of my favorite birds that i have.i did have another but sadley she died. i also had another blue but she died sadley as well.
while i was away at my dads my mom called me and said i lost about 10 birds or so. that night i came home,turned the trail camera on and got a pic of a bobcat next to my coop.so thats what im thinking got them. but enough about my dead birds.
the next thing im going to be posting pics of is my guineas.
