This past spring I had a predator come and wipe out 5 of my 9 chickens. If I didnt wake up and hear it. He probably would have wiped me clean. I heard it and knew what was going on. ran outside with my gun and flash light and got there in time to see the food dish swinging and the chickens cornered and scared. I had a suspicion on what it was because of the speed of the escape.
I set my game camera up for the next night and he came back and continued to come back for 2 weeks every night. brave sucker.
so here is one picture of many the next night.

I assume from the casual tone of your post that your coop is now secure at the level of Fort Knox. Excellent photo.

Hopefully that was a 'permanent' relocation.

The long dark dirt nap is good fox medicine but prime red fox hides are going for as much as $90 bucks this year.

You may wish to go for a two for one deal if another fox shows up.

Ammo is expensive but a steel trap or snare is silent and neither ever needs reloading.
