Thought this was a Barred Rock, but now I'm not sure

    We were told Dixie is a BR, but she doesn't have the same coloring as ones I've seen here. I'd like to know what kind she is, because we just love her to pieces and would love to have more like her. Thanks!

    Sorry this is such a terrible picture - best I can do tonight. Dixie and Amelia were both supposed to be BRs. Amelia has less of a golden ruff than Dixie does.

    she has brown leghorn in her, thus the "gamey" look and the redish breast. likely barred / brown leghorn cross. doesn't show the white ear lobe though. maybe i could be wrong.
