Thoughts on 14 week old silkie gender?

Starting a new thread for my 14 week old silkie “Mabel”. No crowing (or egg laying) yet. Hoping for pullet, but not sure. Her comb is growing very slowly - I haven’t seen much change over the past 3-4 weeks. Thanks!

It's kinda early yet for silkies, the head puff looks a little streamery, but I can't quite tell.

This one is tricky. Face looks girly to me. Comb is a little red, but not huge at all. Repost another set of pictures in two weeks to see if the comb has grown anymore. Silkies can be difficult sometimes.

For now I tentatively say female, but I'm on the fence.

Yeah I’m having a hard time with that as well since they’re still growing in and I don’t see any single streamers yet

We can’t have roos in the city Even though my neighbors don’t care. He sleeps inside at night but spend a good amount of time outside (after his morning crow )

Aw, well at least you found a way to keep him. I bet he enjoys the extra attention
