Thoughts? Two silkie chicks. Pullets? Cockerels?

    total guesses but first looks like a pullet second looks roo as it looks to be feathering slower

    Haha thanks. Total opposite of what someone else said. Looks like I'll just have to wait and see. I just love these little guys. Or gals.

    Much, much too early to sex silkies. Generally have to wait till 4-5 mos. or when they crow or lay eggs - seriously. I got your pictures to enlarge the first time I looked at them but, it won't do it again. One has a wider looking comb - that could end up being a cockerel but, I wouldn't bet on it at this stage.

    How old are they? Breeder or hatchery chicks?

    Thanks. I thought I saw somewhere on this thread that they needed to be at least 4-6 weeks so I thought I'd give it a shot. This is my first time with silkies. They are about 6 and 7 weeks at this point. They are from a breeder.
