These three chicks are a little over 11 weeks old-

Chick one is an orpington/ameracauna mix:

Roo/Roo/Pullet. Ameraucana and their crosses can be pains though! I've raised several hundred and have been surprised before!

1 & 2 are males, and I'm undecided on 3. Comb says pullet, but there's that sickle feather, and those thick legs. Just not positive one way or another.

The first two, vote boy, pretty sure I see male feathers and they have a lot of pink comb for about three months. The third one I thought boy at first look with that tail feather, but don't really see anything that says boy, would expect to see some patchy wing feathers and it doesn't have much comb development, so voting girl. Love the color on that one, was the father a solid blue Ameraucana?

Darn, I can't keep anymore roos! But thank you guys!

Actually, I'm not sure what kind of Ameraucana my rooster is...?

He sure is handsome though, yeah? :D

I'll get more pictures of that brown one in a couple weeks or so, I'll be thrilled if it's a pullet!

    Thanks again!

You have an Easter Egger, as he doesn't fit any recognized Ameraucana color patterns. Handsome boy!

    She looks female!

Thanks for posting follow-up pics. I often wonder how things turned out, it's nice to get to see.
