Three pigs just showed up?????

We just had three little pigs roam into our yard!!!I have no idea whos pigs these are and I know no one around here with pigs. So how far would these pigs travel. I just call the police to report them and he was no help!!

It is kind of funny my dh just said today after getting a new fainting goat. NO MORE ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!!! And I Swear to the lord above not 1 hour later these there pigs come on in like they live here. What do we do now put an ad in the paper as found please call to claim.

umm, yeah I guess you could put an ad in the paper. Have you housed them yet? If you don't contain them, they may just continue to wander on off.

by all means confine them so they dont escape and become feral--real nuisance! do they look like someones pigs or "wild" piglets? what color are they? tail docked yet? etc

Yes we locked them up so they could not run at large. we gave them water and some bread. they are not very big I would think they belong to someone. Just waiting for some one to come claim them. Yes there tail have been docked, and they are just pink piglets. I will try for some pics.

i had one show up a few years ago and he thought he was a bull.

HAHAHAHAAHA You guys are cracking us up!!And no we do not live in a house of brick. These have to be someones 4-h pigs I would think. We only have almost two acres. we have people all around. But we are the only ones with the farm I do not even know were to start asking.

We are going to have to feed them some pig food or something, I do not want them to be hungry. This is crazy You would think someone would be out looking for there 3 little pigs

Well, you hear about people rescuing chickens that fall off of the chicken trucks... maybe they fell off a pig truck.

Seriously though, they have ear tags like they came from a pig farm plus they are very good quality pigs.

Long story short, pigs can travel miles. We had one got loose. We looked everywhere. We finally found it when a friend called to tell us his renters (about 2 miles away) were skinning a big pig out in their back yard. Yes, it was our pig. they claimed they had asked everyone and decided to kill it and eat it rather than let the authorities have it.

Funny, they never asked their landlord or their neighbors. They knew we were looking. We could not find it because they penned it up and pretty much did the SSS without the shovel. They planned to swap the shovel for a fork so maybe SES. To keep the peace and try to take the high ground we split our butchered hog that we fed for them with them. Call us suckers but just wante dto be done.
