Three weeks old

    This was an extra from McMurray. I assumed it would be a male, but looks like a female to me so far. Can you identify him/her?

    I don't see a picture. Hopefully you can get a close up pic but also of the other chicks of the same age to help determine gender.

    So far, I see no cockerel characteristics. However, it is too young to be sure.

    It's too early to say. I don't have a good look at the comb. From this angle, I don't see much but that doesn't mean it's definitely a pullet (female). You may have to wait for 1-2 weeks.

    Looks like a Silver Spangled Hamburg. I can't be positive as to gender yet, but the legs look a bit thick to me and the colors are a bit blotchy, so I would guess rooster. But, give it a few more weeks and you will know for certain.

    3 weeks is way to soon - 6-8 weeks would be much better
