I’m with you.. I personally don’t believe in killing anything that means me no harm and it’s not an immediate a threat to me. But those lil fockers I kill no matter what.I despise ticks!!
I save the little tins that some candles come in, they are great for throwing a tick in the tin and lighting a match, I hold the match under the tin to burn the tick. These past two weeks between me being at home and at my friends I have seen and killed probably 13. To kill the u need to burn them or chop them up with a really good pocket knife.
That is a wonderful idea to insure the die and never live again!I save the little tins that some candles come in, they are great for throwing a tick in the tin and lighting a match, I hold the match under the tin to burn the tick.
I agree.Just a reminder it’s that time of year (for most of the USA) reminder to check you and your dogs etc Before heading in after a walk hike etc. try to avoid tall grasses.
I’ve always just flushed ticks down the toilet. No reason to go to all that trouble burning it.I save the little tins that some candles come in, they are great for throwing a tick in the tin and lighting a match, I hold the match under the tin to burn the tick.
I found out the hard way that they don’t drown and can live in the water for a period of time that’s why I make sure they die.I’ve always just flushed ticks down the toilet. No reason to go to all that trouble burning it.
