As a bantam chicken raiser, I'm used to tiny eggs, but I hadn't seen one THIS small before omg!

    Wind egg!
    Any yolk in there?
    Do you have new layers?
Maybe it's a bantam wind egg?

What is a wind egg? My chickens are all bannies and just started laying a few months ago but they are all the same age. Perhaps I have a late bloomer? I have not cracked it open yet I think I'm going to blow it to try and preserve the shell

The egg in the middle, next to the golf ball is one of my regular bantam eggs

A wind egg is an egg formed around a speck of detached tissue rather than an ovum/yolk.

I only have one blue egg layer. One morning she gave me an egg and a half.[IMG]
