I hope I can post this here, I have been to a few Poultry Shows and have seen that some of the breeders feed a Tiny pellet half the size of the 5/32, do any of you know what kind of feed this is?? and who makes it?

There are several manufacturers that make a mini pellet, for some reason it is more common in horse feed though. All of the US Suppliers Advanced Equine technology feeds are mini-pellet there are several smaller feed mills that make poultry, goat, and sheep feed in mini-pellets.

Speckledhen: Tucker Milling and Faithway Feeds make a mini-pellet. I use Tucker Milling myself.

Hey Cynthia, me too.

My birds are relunctant to eat the bigger pellets but eat the mini-pellets just fine. Tucker Milling makes the mini-pellet in a 16% as well as a 22% Layena. This past year has been the first time I used it. As far as I can tell, it is a pretty good feed. It has both plant and animal derived protein. How long you been using it, Cynthia? Do you find it results in good feather quality, etc.?
