I am in the valley. The mountains protect us from major weather most of the time. We can get fairly cold, but we usually only see one 3" or so snowfall a year if that. There have been a few years we've gotten a foot or two. It's rare though.
What!?
While we’re on the topic of winter, I must confess:
I’ve only ever seen snow twice in my entire life. Sure it’s flurried a few times but I’ve only woke up to a white world twice. Both times it was the middle of March and was less than 4 inches :lau
WHAT!?

I... I need at least a foot of snow on the ground at least once every 12-month cycle to properly function....
Go ahead and "Sad" me. I like the snow! :tongue

I LOVE the snow but we don't get that much, and global warming isn't helping. Gets less and less each year.

Really? I think that we've been getting more, at least around here....
Must be one of those warm/cool cycles that this lovely lump o' rock goes though, I guess.

Work on fabric too. Occasionally I want a shirt to be cropped but I'm too scared to cut it (i need to fit in sometimes i don't usually wear crop tops) and I just turn said shirt inside out, fold it up, and tape it. Works very well.
Very correct. And having an iron with a water spritzer ready allows you to then quickly iron a crease moments after the tape test. As most folks don't have chalk handy for such tailoring prep work. ;)
