To whoever suggested crushed Cheerios as a treat for baby chicks

    Now instead of being afraid of my hand, they all jump on. It was such fun to have all my babies fighting to get into the palm of my hand.
    I get such good ideas from this forum.

    Has anyone used other types of cereal? I have some Special K , I'd like to get rid of hehehe my bf loves that cereal but he's gone for the next few months and I'm stuck with 3/4 of a box . Guess I'll try it...

    Try some yogurt with crumbles or cooked spaghetti noodles. They will go insane!

    i am going to try the cheerios thing, but I am thinking of stringing them onto some thick fishing line, and let them peck on them. should keep them occupied for a while, and should be funny to see them aim and peck.
