Hi everyone, today my chicks hatched, I was fascinated, they all look like daddy rooster, I wanted to see my dear Duffey again in her chicks (she was killed recently šŸ˜ž) but they all look like my rooster. Let me share my journey; my Delaware left a couple of eggs before the tragedy, and I had one in the fridge, the two fresh eggs didnā€™t make it because my husband killed a fly that was in top of the incubator breaking two eggs of my late hen, so I was down to one, the refrigerated one (2 weeks) and that is the healthiest chick I ever seen, I wanted to have more chance of hatchlings so I used my red Rhode Island too so I got 3 out of 9 eggs incubated, 3 non fertilized, 2 broken by my husband, 1 not moving and the 3 that hatched, I think is cool and awesome as this is my first time. Now my question am I going to have an Andalusian or a Delaware šŸ˜•. Any thoughts from the experts? And also do you think my month old eggs could become chickens if incubated? Thank you and blessings
