... The last time I went to the Show was three years ago, and things haven't changed an awful lot.
Except this time I had a look at the chickens in their little show cages: something I've never seen before so it was a new experience for me.
Some of the breeds were intriguing! I have a heap of pics on my phone, but I don't know how to get them onto the computer.
There were chickens with massive wattles, no wattles, white spots on their faces, feathers hanging over their eyes, feather legs, no tails, huge tails... etc.
There was also a corny kids' activity promoting local fresh produce and farming, where you got a map and a bag, and went round collecting stamps and free promotion items from various checkpoints. Every second person had one, even the old folks, it was evidently very popular
