Today was my Birthday

I got some nice roses to plant and a tomato plant that has the cherry tomatoes . I also got some wisteria , a bird of paradise, papyrus, some hibiscus , and a Cana lily. Hubby fed up for me so I could relax and we rode around the property staking out the post holes for the beginning of fencing in our property. Was a beautiful today.....

Well Happy Birthday to you, Chickenzoo!!!

Enjoy this day, and every day, of your life.

But just earlier today I was explaining to my niece how I am
a "two-caker".

What is a two-caker, you ask?...It's when I'm so old all the candles
won't fit on one cake any more. So it takes two cakes for me now.

At my age, it's some pretty serious flames on top of the cake. We've
melted the frosting.

And never again will I have an ice cream cake for my birthday. It
seriously melted. Too many candles. I didn't get any cake that day.
I was heartbroke. Man my size, I like cake. (and it shows)

But getting old has it's advantage...We forget things. Like my wife and
I use to be the same age when we were young. Now she's older than
I am.

It happened like this...

We were eating a birthday cake. But we forgot who's birthday it was. So
I decided it was her birthday. Couple of months later, it was her birthday
again. So that year she had two birthdays and I didn't get one. So now she's
older than I am.
