I spent another afternoon in Bowdon, Ga with my new friends at the Red Hott Tomatoes Farm. As usual the user who all of you know as "Bargain" gave me a great price and I have filled my incubator with 3 dozen of their beautiful eggs. Thank you Nancy and Jauques. I have set 15 Mohagany RIRs, 18 Production RIRs, and 3 BRs. Wish us luck and keep us in your prayers.

    Very Respectfully,

    Joshua W. Garner

Good luck! This is a dark RIR he's talking about:

Production RIRs are hatchery birds, much lighter in color and smaller in body, overall. Some hatceries sell RIRs and Production Reds as separate birds, but neither are like the breeder RIRs.
