toe nails of chickens keep in pens

I recently lost my roo so I aquired a new Blue hen and ROO and they were raised foe show so they were kept in 3x3 pens now they are in a 20x30 run and a 9x12 coop their nails are longer than my other girls and I was wondering if they need to be trimmed or will they wear down as they free range with the others

Its probably best to trim them now and then after that they should wear down just fine.
