Too early to sex?

I bought Golden Comets from a local breeder. They are 5 weeks old. I didn't see the parents, so I don't know for certain that these are true first gen GC's, therefore the sex-linked colors may not pertain to them. Can anyone help me identify the gender of the chicken in the center of this photo? Thanks so much!!

You need to know what the parents are.

if they're second gen, then they aren't sex linked at all, and therefore too young to sex.
officially, they'd be barnyard mixes, not Golden Comets. Golden Comets are just a cross between white hen (like a leghorn) and a red or buff rooster (like a RIR or a Buff Orpington). Sex linking only works on the first generation cross and never past that.
