I'm a newbie and don't know much at all about chickens. What is the first thing you see when you are looking for characteristics? I mean how do you guess pullet? I think it is a buff. It's hard to see in the picture but 'her' feathers are buff and white. I think buff laced. 'She' is really sweet. I want to give her a bath and bring her in the house in a bird cage. 'She' is only 6 weeks old.

Quote:her head feathers look very rounded -males will be spikey. The females head feathers form a ball -rounded. Males will continue to grow down into long thin feathers-like a wig:) She looks like she could be a buff laced but a very light one?
