My sebright hen (who went broody last year.) has decided to go broody again. I really want to hatch out some chicks, but I was wondering if it was too late in the year. As in, would they be old enough by the time winter came? Let's say they'd hatch out August 7thish. (1 week to make sure broody is serious, 3 weeks for incubation.)

Thank you! I was pretty sure they'd be okay, just wanted to be sure! I've watched a broody raise chicks before, and it was so awesome to see how they dealt with everything and it really opened my eyes to how much we humans "baby" chicks when really they are quite resilient!!
