Too Many Roosters

I currently have 2 roosters and a large divided coop with one on either side. I am going to replace rotted ply would and put a new roof on one of their hen houses. To do this, I need to move all the chickens to the other side (temporarily) and need to make new pen for one of my roosters. Any ideas?

What kind of ideas are you looking for? Do you have photos of your set up?

If it's temporary for just one rooster, a large dog crate inside the other pen should work just fine. Make sure it stays dry and he has shade, food and water. I like the hang on feeders for the dog crates and a small perch that stands taller than the feeders will help avoid a mess.

This is my chicken hospital with a broody. It's indoors. You won't need the shavings but perhaps a cover.

Thanks for the advice! Luckily I found an old pallet and some chicken wire and was able to fence him in.

Why can't the roosters stay with the flock?

The roosters can stay with the flock but I have two separate groups with two roosters. I am repairing one of the hen houses and have to move the two groups together, which means the two roosters are in one pen. I have to separate them or else they will fight.
