Too young?

Hello! We added our 2 12 week old pullets to our 2 and 3 year old hens a week ago. Today when getting the eggs this little guy was there. The pullets are an ISA and an Easter Egger. Could the ISA started laying or one of my other hens having an funny egg day?

That could possibly be from your pullet. It's from them starting to get into cycle. My girls started laying that early too. Or it could be one who may have had a point where their cycle messed up. They're known as fairy, witch, or fart eggs.

Ya when the hens started laying they did this too. But they didn’t start laying till winter/ beginning of the next spring. That’s why I was Curious if it was too young for her to start laying at 12 weeks.

That’s some good information. Thank you! I’ll have to put a glove on and check but I’m sure she’s too young.
