Top For Our Pheasant Run?? Help..

Cheapest thing we found was recycled gill-net. Wouldn't work for small/young birds, but adults couldn't get through the netting.

I can get the stuff they use on driving ranges(golf). It's very strong and it cost .10 per sq ft.How big of a piece do you need?
In N.H.,Tony.

I use aviary netting for all my tops.
The will not tangle in them!!!!
If you pull it tight, as I do, it kind of acts like a trampoline if the fly up and hit it.
It's price is not too bad either for what you get and it'll last for years.
There's cheaper stuff out there, but you get what you pay for!
I get mine from Strombergs Hatchery. It's the cheapest place I have found for it by far! Mc Murry was twice as high for the same product more less.

Their 2inch mesh (ideal for tops) in a 25'x50' roll is only
$70 and that includes the shipping too.
Go there and look into it, I think you'll like the stuff, and best of all, it's very easy to work with, and safe on the birds
We wouldnt build an aviary without it.

You'll be glad you went with that stuff. It's super easy to work with and it comes user friendly as well. I even used a piece as a "screen door" over my entrance, so I have a "double door".

At least one bird will fly into it when you put them in and its soft and won't hurt the bird like the others have said.
