Top of chicken beak bloody

I just went outside to give my chickens some apples and I noticed one of my Leghorns beaks was bloody! It doesn't seem to be cracked, almost just a layer shaved off the top almost like a fingernail, but the area is dirty (they have ALWAYS been super dirty, but maybe I just notice it more since they are white!) and I don't want it to get infected. My leghorns aren't the nicest to the other girls so I hope it wasn't a fighting issue
